goal is support and connect families of children with Down syndrome
through the organization or promotion of family activities. We want
to ensure all people with Down syndrome have happy and productive lives and are
fully included in the community. To
support this goal, key elements of our mission statement are: ·

acknowledge the diversity of all individuals by providing an open
and free information exchange of traditional and alternative choices ·
To ensure and promote rights, opportunities, and well
being of individuals with Down syndrome ·
To provide information, educational opportunities and
support for families with individuals with Down syndrome. ·
To promote, encourage, and stimulate the education,
care, treatment, socialization, vocational development, and inclusion of
individuals with Down syndrome. ·

the public about Down syndrome. ·
To promote the training of competent and sensitive
personnel to aid in the education, care, treatment, transitions and
habilitations of individuals with Down syndrome. To promote research into areas
that will enhance the quality of life and improve treatment for individuals with
Down syndrome. TDSN is proud to offer a
