     TDSN Scholarship form - TEACHER SUBMISSION

This form can be used by a parent to request a TDSN scholarship for a teacher at a local NC school.

Teacher/school support:  Funding can be requested for the purchase and distribution of education materials for a school library or teacher support to further the understanding and inclusion of children with Down syndrome in a school environment.  Grants are limited to $100.00.

 

Teacher education:  Funding can be requested to defer a portion of the cost for a educator to attend a TDSN sponsored event.  These events include – but are not limited to – a TDSN sponsored conference or TDSN banquet.  These grants are limited to the full entrance fee of the event.  TDSN will not grant any funding to cover a spousal attendance of the event.  Grants are limited to the fee that TDSN collects and do not include transportation, additional costs for meals (if not included) or separate purchase (if not included) of conference materials.
